Shri Satyaprajna Teertharu was the pontiff of Shri Uttaradi Matha during the period from 1942 to 1945. His purvasahrama name was Shri Pandurangi Jayacharya. Shri Satyaprajna Teertharu was ordained as monk and succeeded to the pontificate in 1942. After being initiated to Vedantha Samrajya, he took up the construction of Brindavana in Pandharapur to his beloved guru Shri Satyadhyana Teertharu and performed Mahasamaradhana in a large scale.
